This privacy policy describes data processing that can occur when you use PerfMonitoring.com and its browser-based diagnostic tools.
Hosting and server logs
The hosting or content-delivery provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser or user-agent data, referrer and response status to deliver the site, maintain security, prevent abuse and troubleshoot errors. Retention and exact infrastructure settings depend on the production hosting provider.
Google Analytics
Most content pages load Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site measurement. The site initializes Google Consent Mode with ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization set to denied by default. With analytics_storage denied, Google states that Analytics cookies are not read or written, but cookieless measurement pings can still be sent and may include ordinary browser/request information. This privacy-policy page does not load the Google Analytics tag.

Browser-based tools
Calculators operate locally in your browser. Some network-checking tools may cause your browser to contact a URL you enter. In that case, the destination server can receive normal request metadata such as your IP address and user agent. Browser security controls, including cross-origin restrictions, can limit what a public tool can retrieve. Do not enter passwords, API keys, private URLs or confidential personal information into these tools.
Third-party links and assets
PerfMonitoring links to official vendor sites and may load third-party brand assets. When your browser requests an external asset or you follow an external link, the third party receives a normal web request and applies its own privacy practices.
Google AdSense and advertising
PerfMonitoring may use Google AdSense after the site and publisher account are approved. Until advertising is activated, no Google ad units are intentionally served by this site. If Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other permitted identifiers to deliver, measure and personalize advertising according to the visitor’s choices and applicable law. Google’s advertising cookies can be used to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to this site or other sites.
Visitors can manage personalized advertising in Google My Ad Center / Ads Settings. Where other third-party vendors or ad networks are used, their own privacy policies and opt-out mechanisms will also apply. This notice will be updated if the deployed advertising setup changes.
Consent for the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Before personalized Google ads are served to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the site owner must configure a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework where Google requires it. The deployed consent interface must communicate the visitor’s choices to Google and provide the controls required by the selected implementation.
Data minimization
PerfMonitoring is an informational site and does not provide user accounts in this version. Avoid entering confidential information into public diagnostic tools. If forms, newsletters, accounts, additional analytics, advertising partners or other data-collection features are introduced, this policy should be updated before those features are launched.
Your browser and consent choices
You can use browser controls to manage cookies and site storage, and you can decline or revisit consent where the deployed consent interface provides that option. Blocking certain third-party resources may change analytics or advertising behavior without preventing access to the core editorial content.
Policy changes
This notice is reviewed when hosting, analytics, advertising, consent tooling or browser utilities change materially. The published policy is intended to describe the site’s active data practices and will be updated when those practices change.
